mirror effect

can someone please enlighten me - is it even possible to achieve a mirror finish with a polishing cloth, water, and a can of saphir creme surfine?

been doing that for the past hour..

Geez...What is with people with the "spit shine" or "mirror finish!"
NOT necessary to spend more than several minutes on a pair of shoes. 1 hour?? Some shoes are not meant to have a mirror shine!

1hr is a bit of exag on my side...
just need a bit of mirror finish on the tip of my EGs to kick them off.. i'm sure a lot of pple are doing them!
