Bought this off eBay, seller's measurements were misleading and the suit ended up fitting too large on me. Seeing if anyone's interested before I alter or something.

St. Andrews Business Suit

Size: EU52 R; Jacket 38 R; Slacks 33 waist

Color: Medium blue and black in super fine nailhead weave

Style: Single breasted - 2 button, side vents; pants are pleated, lined and cuffed.

Material: 100% Super 130's Wool

Up for auction is a super nice Saint Andrews (made in Italy) business suit with a classic Italian cut and a nice Charvet silk tie. This suit is well maintained and in pristine mint as new condition - worn just a couple of times and can just about pass for new. The pictures tell it best. The workmanship and attention to detail on this suit is second to none.

It is made of a light to medium weight wool and can be worn year round. Color is a medium blue and black nailhead weave - really nice and extra versatile. A suit this classic will serve you for years to come.

As with most clothing (pre-owned or new) some minor alterations may be necessary to get a fit just right for you. Labeled size EU52 R and I measure at a US 38 R, but please compare a suit that fits you well to the following additional details:

Jacket: Fully lined. Single-needle stitching. 2 button front. 3 button sleeves. Perfectly matched buttons for the suit color. Notched lapels. Functional lapel hole. Side vents. 3 exterior pockets. 3 interior pockets.

18 inches across the shoulders (sleeve seam to sleeve seam directly across the back).

42 inches across the chest (armpit to armpit, then doubled).

38 inches across the waist (above the pockets, then doubled).

Total length is 30 inches from base of collar to jacket bottom.

Sleeves are 26 inches (from shoulder seam to cuff).

Slacks: Pleated front. Lined to the knee. Cuffed hem. 7 belt loops. 2 rear pockets - both with button.

33 inch waist - 2.5 inches to let.

Inseam is 30 inches with 3 inches to let (if you wear them without cuffs).

1.75 inch cuffs.

41 inch total length from waist to bottom of slacks.

This suit is in mint condition. This suit retails for $2290 at finer retail stores.

The fabric is very nice, and the condition is excellent, as the eBay seller described. However, the shoulder is padded, and measures more of a 18.5"-19". Probably best for a 40R.

Photos are from the eBay auction; will take own photos on request.

EDIT: Pants are double-pleated, as someone asked. Also edited price to reflect shipping costs.

Yes the only measurement off is the shoulder, which is more like 18.75 (and it's padded, so really 19ish).
