I am about to start my year sophomore in college. My school offers an International Business program that gives students a path that includes a business major, a foreign language major, at least four weeks of study abroad and at least six weeks of an internship all within five years. I was initially an International Business student with my majors being Accounting and German but the curriculum turned out to be too rigorous. Now, I am an Accounting major with a minor in German, but because I was on the International Business "fast track" my first year I have a couple holes to fill in my schedule and I have room for another major. I have traveled to France a few times with my family and have always loved the country and the language and I have always wanted to learn French, but would it be more beneficial for me to minor in something like Finance or Economics? I would really like a job dealing with international commerce or trade after I graduate and I am still planning on completing my study abroad and international business internship.
Long story short: Does an Accounting degree look better with minors in German and Finance or German and French?
