Hey there, first post. Looks like a fantastic, really active forum. a pleasure to be on here.

I've been taking steps to minimize my closet.
In the process I've realized that I should invest in quality articles of clothing, that way I don't have to have a huge wardrobe full of the miscellaneous.
I want to clarify that I'm looking for quality streetwear, i.e. nudie jeans, a nice jacket.. on that level. I do not have the bank account for Armani suits or versace shirts. unfortunately.

Welcome to the forum! We have a thread along this vein already, the contentedness thread: http://www.styleforum.net/t/303455/the-contentedness-thread

Minimizing my wardrobe is something that I really believe in but struggle with. What I've decided is that I won't compromise, i.e. buy a worse version of something that I want because it's cheaper, because I inevitably end dissatisfied and wind up buying the thing I wanted eventually anyway
