I'm in the DC area and am interested in commissioning a couple of pieces from Mina.

Mina said that she could plan a visit to DC if at least 6 of us are interested.

I know that there are many of us in the area, so if you are interested please post in this thread or PM me and hopefully Mina can make a visit to DC.

Thanks.

I'm interested. I had a brief email exchange with Mina last week but haven't heard back in a few days. I've looked through a few threads, but I'm still not completely clear on the process (i.e., fittings and pricing), so if anyone has a bit more info on that, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

All prices CMT, in Euros:

SC: 1,200
trousers: 300
vest: 300

Prices are modular, so a 2-piece suit would run 1,500 Euros CMT, a 3-piece 1,800.

^^ Thanks for the pricing info. Definitely interested based on the examples I've seen floating around the forum.

I'm interested in seeing Mina in DC. I haven't been able to get to NYC for her regular visits.

I'm certainly interested in meeting her and learning more, but I cannot commit to ordering anything at this time. That may influence whether she'd find the trip worthwhile.

Do these prices include fabric?

The deal sounds pretty good. Though I can't fully commit right now, approx when would she be coming? I hope the troubles in the euro zone bring the euro back to parity with the dollar!

No. "Cut-Make-Trim" or CMT means that you are providing the cloth to the tailor.

Mina will visit NYC 2/24-2/26 so if we can drum up enough business by then I suspect that she could visit DC around that timeframe.

We still need a few more people though.

I've arranged to see Mina in NYC on her February visit, but am certainly onboard for DC visits going forward.

thanks poorsod for the fabric information.

i have emailed mina and forwarded this thread to her.

perhaps she can share a little more detail about the process on this thread and hopefully a few more people [need at least 2 more committed buyers] will be interested so she can plan a visit to DC.

if any of you above know of others not on sf who would be interested in a DC visit, please update this thread.

thanks.

I've bought too much recently, but I would certainly be interested in a visit later this year.
