Milan shopping

I'm visiting Milan very soon and I would really appreciate it if you could give me some good tips on where to shop.

I know that Al Bazar, SW1, Doriani, Boggi and M. Bardelli are all worth a visit.

I'm looking to buy an elegant coat (either navy or camel). What would be the best place to shop for one, best quality, design for the best price?

Also which store in Milan has the best quality, design for the best price?

I assume the sales have already started or at latest after christmas?
