Mid-wash, high rise denim

Does such a thing exist?

I don't have the appetite for another break-in project, especially not with summer around the corner. I'm looking for a high(er) rise, selvedge denim with a soft, even wash (without uneven fading/distressing). The closest thing I've found are Levi's current 501s, but the construction and denim quality are atrocious.
