Hi guys,

The thread title is essentialy what im looking to pull off. Finding it very difficult to find pics of this look done well however. Can anyone help?

Would the common projects mid achilles work? What alternatives is there to common projects? (extreme hassle to get my hands on where i live).

I realise that this post is very vague, am having trouble articulating exactly what im looking for.

Basically want a hi top sort of look, but one that doesnt look silly (ie. extreme skinny jeans, HUGE shoes).

Appreciate your help and anticipate a flaming.

Thanks for the replies.

I want the jean to be tucked into the shoe, but i dont want huge looking shoes.

I think most hi tops are really ugly tbh.

Disagree! I really like midtops because they simulate the shape of chukkas, which I love. Properly done, (Common Projects does do a good job with them) the shape is very different from either a lop top or a high top. Edit: On the other hand, while tucking your pants into your boots makes you look like a fashion victim, tucking your pants into midtops will just make you look extra stupid.

Not all boots b/c I tuck my jeans (ok, not exactly tuck, but more like bunch) into my military boots and they look sick this way. I agree that with pretty much any other boot pretty much makes you look like a sissy

common projects mid tops are ugly. they look like big marsupialed triangles. nike makes some good mid tops tho, so does spring court.

Mids are great, I like them about equally as lows. Though, they're fairly unwearable with short in the summer.
Yet, on the other hand I own zero pairs of high top sneakers (though I do own high boots).

Confirms my suspicion that Ben is short bus material.
