here are a couple of magnanni's i bought on sale recently. yes, the 1st one are (as some of our brethren here call it) frankensteins

thanks for the compliments. i purchased them on sale at lane crawford, hongkong. if i remember right, they're both marked down to HK$1,300 or less than US$180.

I really like the first pair. The lace up version is also very nice; I was trying it on today. As to the price, the ones I saw were $425CDN, but just for reference the store was selling AE at $450CDN. Does any know about the quality of this brand?

good old lane crawford the sale time there is so great esp for shoes it is a shame the lobbs dont come on sale thro' - i have been thinkinh about getting some sergio rossi one's but cant make my mind up, knowing my luck they will be all gone by the time i do!

to be honest, the quality of the leather is not up to par with santoni, which it is quite obviously trying to copy. but they'll pass off as good casual shoes, like what flame said, imo.

I work at Holt's, and my advice is that AEs and most other better dress shoes in Canada are overpriced. You can get AE's in the states for around 150 USD, which amounts to 200 CDN. (For reference I worked previously in a Saks)

actually i went last night as your pic made me decide to treat myself - but low and behold when i choose the spec's they did not hace my size - "thoose bar stools!"
