Micro Check Shirts

Help SF..

I have been looking for quality sport shirts in "interesting" microcheck patterns. I am envisioning ultra tiny microchecks with high contrast colors......that do not use white. Modern slim fitting too.

I would like to pair the shirts with my solid navy wool blazer and/or BB camel hair blazer. What else do you guys think would go well with high contrast microchecks?


Can anyone point me towards some retailers.

I'm sorry, maybe I am describing this wrong. Which part is confusing.

-Sport Shirt (long sleeve button shirt)
-Microcheck pattern (I said ultra micro, some retailers say microcheck when really it isn't)
-High Contrast Microchecks (microchecks use two colors - and i'm looking for something more interesting then just blue, light blue for example.)

Is this at all what you mean by interesting micro check? A pleasing and office-/casual-appropriate but somewhat vibrant woven pattern on a small scale?

Yea, that's what i am talking about. When I see microchecks, they are usually very subtle. Vibrant is a good word for what I am thinking. Example of nice microcheck, but not very loud/exciting pattern - http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/ca...stid%253D74947 Thanks!

FYI the swatch is from a Dsquared shirt I own. Found it on eBay from a seller I trust for $120ish after I refused to buy it at Holt Renfrew for $500+tax.

Ok thanks! I am going to keep searching on eBay for microchecks. Maybe there are other words to describe the pattern too.

I love that but not short sleeves...
