I thought that a hung jury was a reasonable possibility until the judge decided to allow jury instructions on the misdemeanor charge of furnishing alcohol to minors (a lesser included offense of the felony charge of administering alcohol in order to assist molestation). I haven't been following the trial closely but it seems like there is enough evidence for the jury to convict on the misdemeanor charge, which would make that charge the basis for a potential compromise verdict. If there are jurors who are on the fence about the serious charges but believe that something bad "must" have happened, they might acquit on everything but the simplest charge.no mistrial/hung jury option?
one already has a book deal I think they said.i predict the jurors will make bank on their stories.
