Does anyone know of a good Miami area tailor?

The consensus is that Christian Garcia is the best tailor in Miami.

hmm, wasn't aware of him, a google search turned up some discussion on AAAC as well. His bespoke suits are 4k. Wonder if it's "worth it". Any, he doesn't do alternations. Any rec's for a good tailor for alternations? I have a nice Corneliani suit that needs the pants altered and don't want to have it messed up by a bad tailor.

Bump on this thread. Looking for a tailor for alterations in the 305 as well.

For small alteration stuff (e.g. shirt sleeve length, pants length, shirt button cuff placement) I've used Nami's Tailoring on US1 near Dadeland mall ... 305-666-8542 ... I've never tried him for complex alterations, but he's done a great job on everything I've given him ... he's very cheap too ...

I've been looking for a good tailor in all of South Florida for the past 3 yrs. I am convinced it doesn't exist.

I have used Julca Tailor, the location on Coral Way and 17th Ave, for minor alterations, did a good job.

For more complex work, I recommend Continental Tailoring in N. Miami Beach on 163rd street around 11th Avenue. Mr. Abner has been there 30 years or so. He is from France with diplomas on his walls from various tailoring schools.

I have used Noel on NE 125th street in between 6th and 7th avenues, in North Miami for minor alteration stuff, and did a pretty good job.

+1 one on Continental. Abner was the only person I could find in Miami who would sew working button holes on a jacket, and it looks like he did it by hand. This was 4 years ago, and he was old then, so I don't know if he's still around but he did a nice job

Does Abner do custom tailoring work or mainly just alterations?

Thank you.

I used Abner at Continental Tailoring recently for a new suit alteration as well as fixing a few other jackets. He did a great job and is a very nice guy. I believe he only does alterations.

I think Abner does only alterations at this time.
I have had him fix and replace zippers, pocketing, etc.

Claude Albert is also great on south dixie highway. I was reccomend to him from someone at saks. He charges about 120 for a bespoke shirt. Also does alterations. The name of the place i believe is French Tailor. I believe he is 105th or 106th and south dixie highway. Very nice and helpful been using him for about 4-5 years
