Mezlan shoes or other good shoes around $200

Any one have any experience with these types of shoes? A good buy at around $200? Any other mfgrs like this? MY kenneth coles had the side part of the heel peel off already after 1 yr.
I would like semi or square toe like this. Thanks

I'm partial to Santoni at that price point. Lately I've seen the Eastman popping up at Nordstrom Rack for $159 plus tax. Plus it doesn't have the split toe that the Mezlan has.

Allen Edmonds shoes on sale (look on ebay, for example) represent a solid value for $200 and under.

Do you know of any Allen Edward, Edward Green, or John Lobb that look like that Eastman? I can't seem to find any.

Mezlan are glued crap. Pre-SF I had a pair that fell apart in about 2 months.

Mezlan for $200 is FAIL.

I have a few pairs, but don't think I ever paid more than $40-60 or so.

Not all are glued crap. I have several pre-SF Mezlan gators and crocs that still wear well and look good. Most are 10-20 years old.
