Mezlan shoes, any good?

I have a pair from my pre-SF days, bought off STP.

Meh.

They are a definite step down from the Charles Tyrwhitt rebranded Loakes I have ... looking at the soles, for example, the Mezlan has just over 4 stitches per inch, while the CTs are almost eight.

Thanks for your input guys, I might just go for a pair, my shoes don't get heavy use, and as i don't wear suits to work, just trousers and a polo top normally so i don't need anything too formal, also it's handy if they go well with jeans if i do fancy wearing them other than to work.

They are hit or miss!! I've been lucky with the ones I own. Most are alligator and some are over 10 years old.
I just bought a pair of alligator here in Canada. Picked them up for $600 but they were listed at $1200. Not sure if thats an inflated price or not but do you think they are worth keeping?
