try to get the ferragamos on sale somewhere. they all eventually will turn up discounted. their regular line and studio line arent all that bad as people say here. i know because i am wearing a ferragamo today that i have worn for over 4 years now, many times several consecutive days in a row. (mainline)

dont get the mezlan. you'll regret spending any money on it. the leather is cheap, sharp geometrical lines they have on their shoes is non-aesthetic, and overall it lacks any comfort for your feet.

+1 They're ok if you can get them cheap (less than $80) as they're better than most around that price point. Otherwise you'd be much better off lurking for some Gammo's or Martegani's etc on eBay or B&S.

I vote for Ferragamo Newland. I never found Mezlan's all that comfortable. Ferragamo's can be if you get the right model. This site has a lot of info on Men's Ferragamo shoes.

www.shoearchives.com

I usually go there first, find out the model names, then go to Ebay to see if I can find it there for a good price. Good luck.
