I was browsing ebay for a new winter coat and came across Metropolitanview wool coats using Loro Piana storm system fabrics for what seems like a reasonable price (229$). They are supposedly made in Italy, and use Loro Piana fabric so that seems like a great price, but they aren't selling at all, and I can't find any information about the seller. Was wondering if anyone on here might be able to provide me with a bit more information.

If you would have searched SF, you would have found these:

http://www.styleforum.net/search.php?search=metropolitan+view+bloomingdales

First thread tells you about the brand, second thread should show you what a used one would go for (while that one is not specified a LP, it sold for under $25 I guess)

Generally, I've not been overly impressed with any Metropolitan View stuff. It reminds me of Macy's level clothing. Would take the Bloomies house brand over it given the choice.
