I've been seeing a bunch of different brands releasing jeans with a metallic-y finish. I really like it. In fact im going to go probably buy a pair of joey electrics. Whats your guys' opinion on them?

also- ive been trying to think of what kind of shoes would look good with them, any opinions?

my .02 is that you have to be one skinny ass motherfucker for it to look good, and the rest of your outfit better be suitably expensive and crazy to pull it off

Metallic-y as in silver? Can you link to an example? I know a number of designers have done a waxy/shiny finish for men, but only in black.

Women's is a different story. Actually in fall Hudson is doing a silver shiny jean. They look cool but they don't have the finish you would expect. Very rough.

I like the april 77 joey thunder or something like that. The new model that's kinda metallicy. I like the Raf ones too. I think it'd be fun to have a nice pair for parties and other occasions although i'm not rich enough to buy something i'd rarely wear. Get some patent raf or CP high tops for it too. Definitely not practical though.

I like those Diors quite a bit. The cut is great and they might even be practical if they were slightly less metallic. Be really cool if they were a stainless steel blend.

I'll try and post a pic of the RAF jeans soon. They certainly got some attention in Vegas, the Japanese buyers kept stopping me to take photo's of them. They're a real ball ache to break-in and don't breathe too well.
