Not a bad list, as far as these things go. The only one that made me do a double-take was the pocket watch. I love them, in theory, but I'm not sure I'd call them essential.

I was very disappointed in the suit guide in this issue. The cover makes it look like a big feature, when it's really only a two-page spread with very little information. And, worse, a chunk of that information is incorrect or misleading.

Dominican Republic. I was disappointed when I discovered it, but I don't know that mine could really be made any better. Still, a bit deflating.

The Atlas styling is classic, though. I bid on a vintage bag almost exactly the same design on ebay awhile back. I can see why some would find it too big for their needs.

I second a vintage Rolex Sub. It is a must have along with a Cartier Tank.

1. Loro Piana Horsey Jacket or a similar Storm System model
2. Kiton or Anna Matuozzo dress shirts
3. Incotex Super 120s or 150s trousers
4. Kiton or Oxxford cashmere sportcoat
5. Bespoke oxfords from Amesbury, Gaziano, or Lobb
6. Martin Dingman belts
7. Cole Haan Imperial socks
8. Edward Green Inverness or Southwold shoes
