Not a bad list, as far as these things go. The only one that made me do a double-take was the pocket watch. I love them, in theory, but I'm not sure I'd call them essential.

I was very disappointed in the suit guide in this issue. The cover makes it look like a big feature, when it's really only a two-page spread with very little information. And, worse, a chunk of that information is incorrect or misleading.

I think the styling of the Atlas dispatch case is a little off, especially the brass plate in the middle. At 18", it is also an inch or so too long. Good price, I agree. Wonder where they are made these days.

Wonder where they are made these days.

Dominican Republic. I was disappointed when I discovered it, but I don't know that mine could really be made any better. Still, a bit deflating.

The Atlas styling is classic, though. I bid on a vintage bag almost exactly the same design on ebay awhile back. I can see why some would find it too big for their needs.

MontBlanc is subpar and not worth the price it charges.
