Worked @ GNC years ago and used to sell a lot of their sexual health pills, mostly combo's of herbs like horny goat weed, tribulis testis, yohimbe, etc. NOT those penis enlargment crap, but these just claim to provide longer, harder, erections and improve overall sexual health.

Never worked up the nerve to try them out, even though I tried almost all the supps we had. Has anyone ever used any of these herbs? if so any results?

Some of those herbs have side effects and probably shouldn't be taken long term. Instead of getting the combination pills, research the herb individually and use supplements with an herb by itself. That way you are able to monitor side effects and can add others if needed. I've heard a lot about maca and Tribulus terrestris but never used any of them. There are conflicting studies on Tribulus and I've read about potential androgenic side effects like breast development.

What's the goal? Libido, lasting, or pen0rr hardness? (first and last normally go hand in hand)

Most of the pills are BS, but there are indigestible fixes for each.

I'll start adding information bit by bit in this thread.

    For starters:

If you want to last longer in bed, try taking 400mgs of magnesium chelate 1-2x daily. Give it about a week. You should be taking it anyway, but it'll help if you're having problems lasting, and deficiency can actually be the cause of premature ejaculation.

It might as well be. The only things that will improve your sexual health are 1. Proper diet. 2. Exercise. 3. Regular sex.

Herbs and vitamins, unless you have a specific deficiency, are worthless.

    Note quite.

-A healthy mental state should be number 2 on that list.
-Herbs work. They work in varying degrees for people, but they definitely work.
-Most people are rather deficient in a number of vitamins. RDA is bullshit. That means that supplementing can make a huge difference.

Epimedium or "horny goat weed" is often sold as a supplement for this purpose. It is a PDE-5 inhibitor, like viagra, and has similar activity. An italian research group actually tried to modify the structure to make it more potent (probably to sell it off to a medical company later on) but they ended up publishing the results, so it probably wasn't a viable idea. I have some lying around that I got with some other herbs I ordered, but never got around to trying it since I'm young and never had a physiological... problem :)

Anthony Logistics sent me their range of supplements a while ago - the person I had test the 'Libido' formula (which contains horny goat weed) wasn't really impressed.

a proper diet should provide enough vitamins to avoid symptoms associated with deficiency, but vitamins in quantities used for some medicinal/beneficial purposes will usually need supplementation.

I had a discussion with a coworker recently about this. He'd come to conclusion that the primary reason for cold and flue season occurring in the colder months had less to do with the weather and more due to the fact that there is less sunlight in the shorter days causing less vitamin D production in our bodies. I can't recall his source for this discussion but it makes sense.
