Hello im thinking to buy this pair of John Lobb shoes.
Anyone could give accurate information about them please? About the year,if they are vintage or modern times, the name of model, etc.
I think they are oxford, dont know if i am correct.
Im able to give some good money for them because i know they are quite expensive.
But how much they worth really. what will be the reasonable price to pay for them?
If anyone enough expert on the business could help me with some information, i would be grateful.
Many Thanks
Regards

I don't recommend buying shoes that expensive if you don't know the difference between blücher/derby and oxford/balmorals.

It's hard to give a lot of information on the shoes with just this tiny picture. I'm not too well versed with Jl to recognize their shoes by the last.

Would Lobb really sell shoes with quarters THAT misaligned?

@ fritzl they look like blüchers to me...

I'd suggest taking baby steps towards john lobbs if you are new to the shoe game before dropping some major cash. you know like Perlen vor die Säue.

they are, indeed. plain blucher is a very versatile style, especially in black. he cannot go wrong.

Highly depends on how used they are. I've seen used John Lobbs go for as high as 400€ but I would rather suggest getting new Crockett & Jones for that money. But I'm not a thrift store/ebay kind of guy. You are maybe making a good deal if you manage to pay less than 300 for what looks like somewhat only lightly used shoes.
