Very nice. When did you get on his list? I put in my pre-order in early November.

I like that. The "raw edge" has a certain rugged masculine appeal, while the Forest Green speaks of its Pacific Northwest origins. It has that "Humphrey Bogart" charisma.

Thanks! It's a good muted green that I think will work well as a workhorse in my collection. Definitely appreciate the higher crown too

No. I dislike it intensely. Brim much too small.
Not made from felt so it has those awful seams.
Also, evokes a down market demographic.

Perhaps you were at this stage, once, Comrade. There are ways of saying things and...ways of saying things. Being a bit less strident might help in future purchases. Yours, for the cause, Munky.

Thankfully, I was never at "this stage" My taste was formed at a very early age by my very well-dressed
father. Rather than wear that unfortunate hat, it was imperative to save the would be wearer. I regret that
my conviction came across as strident.

I'm with Comrade. I have thrown away a lot of money on cheap short life items. I see his comment as being the same as telling someone not to buy a cheap suit or cheap shoes. I would have loved to have had someone point me the way.
