I went to JJ Hat Center - the cathedral of men's hats. Not sure where Worth & Worth is any more, since they ditched the ground floor space at 43rd and Madison.

Funny thing happened on one of my visits to the old W&W on Madison. A fellow being waited on before me buys a red wool hunting cap (think Elmer Fudd) and wears it out of the store. Less than a minute later he storms back into the store, hatless, and asks for another hat just like the one he'd just bought. Seems he was standing on the corner waiting for the light to change when a guy on a bicycle sped by and snatched the hat right off his head. Only in New York........

Both those lids look great on you, Upper Crust. I love Homburgs; just wish they loved me.

Well, the hats Spader wears are his own and he had to buy them somewhere.

I've never actually handled an Akubra but I've heard that it's the best bang for the buck in hatdom.

Man walks into Optimo and says, "Give me a hat in every color you have!"

Is that the way it went down,Mac? ;)

All I know is, I found it rather enjoyable checking out all of @mcarthur hats.
