borsalino como II
Mac, you'll have to walk me through a couple of hat purchases. Admire all of yours!
I had a hat done by Graham. A first class bloke and I appreciated he got his Australian wife to talk to me so their were no dialect misunderstandings...
My first visit to Australia was for the America's Cup in '87. Our hosts were very gracious but I had a little trouble following their conversations, and that was before the alcohol started flowing. After a few rounds of pints it might just as well been Sanskrit .
Still, a great country with lovely people.
Oh, that one would go great with a camel hair coat.
nephew, it goes well with both camel hair sports coat or a polo camel hair coat
Magill high crown, raw brim fedora. I picked it up for $4 at Value Village in March, looking like this:
I steamed it and reshaped it using two bowls, a ladle, an ovoid casserole dish, and a pyrex measuring cup as forms. I hated that band so I took it off, and I've just now, finally, gotten around to replacing it. I made the new band myself, not half an hour ago.
You did a good job on that refurb, ITG. The lid suits you.
And Mac's parade of hats yields another sublime lid.
nephew, thank you
