I'm about 5'6"/155lbs. and I like my blazers short and fitted (obviously). However, I just bought two blazers from H&M and Urban Outfitters that are both size 36R (supposedly the smallest they had in stock). Do blazers in this price range go any smaller?

Try hickey Freeman His First. Not necessarily in the price range you are looking for but they go up to size 20 Boys which is close to a 36.

Speaking of which, there's a tax at online clothing retailers now?

Either I'm an idiot or the search just sucks. Both terms found 0 results.

Bump (sorry). None of my searches are turning it up, would be much appreciated.

I find that H&M's 34R fits like a slim 36R for the most part. I would think that you should be fine with a 36S in a slim fitting brand like Dior or Thom Browne. If you need a smaller size, though I'd guess you were a 34S.
