How can you tell the difference?

Blue pants are always mens. Pink pants are always womens. If they are black, grey, or khaki they are unisex.

Does anyone remember that episode of The Office when Michael Scott was caught wearing a woman's suit? I remember a big indicator was that the trousers didn't have any back pockets. I'm just not sure if that's always true or not in woman's fashion

haha, that was hilarious and he didn't have a care in the world (or at least, that's the way I remembered it) but main differences you can see is little to no pockets (women), higher rise in the crotch and lower rise in the waist (still women), wider leg openings (women) and I think this rule applies with trousers just like they do with shirts but mens pants button or clasp to the right and women's do to the left
