i am currently in communication with frank from meinelt fashion and he just informed me that they are in the process of adding a large number of fabrics to their collection. this includes sea island fabrics and in the end, will number upwards of 3500 suit and shirt fabrics. this number seems high to me, so perhaps that was a typo, but regardless, this is good news.

btw, i ordered my first shirt from them a few days ago, and i have received approximately 7-10 emails regarding measurements and fabric selection to ensure satisfaction... pretty impressive. and they have committed to a one week turn around time from when i submit my payment even with the modifications to the order.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
