I’m new to the forum. Just got my first peacoat, and unsure of the size. Does it look too big?
In my opinion yes, because I like slimmer more fitted style. But its up to you as I notice a lot of people on here prefer the more spacious fit. Nice coat though

Thanks. I’m thinking it’s probably too big, but I’m afraid if I go down a size the shoulders won’t fit.

Decided to get my peacoat taken in a bit through the body. I think the fit is improved.

Hello I'm looking at buying a new peacoat. I'm leaning towards the schott 740, but am also slightly intrigued by hokerty and their mto peacoat. Anybody here have any experience with hokerty?

Anyone have a good source for a camel colored peacoat? Apparently I'm one of the few who likes the idea, because it's proving difficult to find. I'm considering Hockerty MTM, but the 50/50 wool blend is a big turnoff, and Hockerty seems poorly regarded even in the inconsistent MTM sphere. But they do offer the product I'm looking for.

Private White camel peacoat in 100% cashmere, currently discounted. Not cheap but it’s what came to mind.

Beauty, thanks for the suggestion. $1650 is too steep for me, unfortunately. And while I do like cashmere, for this I'd actually prefer something more durable. $500 on the high end is more around what I'm looking at, and I'm not opposed to going used.

I have a Canali wool/cash blend and it's excellent. Soft but durable. Check out Sartoriale on eBay. Lots of new cashmere blends.

I'm very pleased with my BR peacoats. It's really one of a kind. Have one in black and one in navy blue.

Needless to say, you probably don't want to wear the BR in disreputable neighbourhoods or in bad weather conditions. Does anyone know of a less luxury slim fit peacoat, short in length, which you can be less careful with?
