I find if I put the collar up like this and button it closed around my neck, the wind won't get in and the coat will be warmer, but is the peacoat suppose to be worn like this? it looks strange (look, there is another guy behind the first)

Wear it however you feel comfortable..but if you have dumb friends or something, they might be like. "dudee why yous got yo colla popped" [IMG]

Iroh: Wear it however it keeps you warm, but most of all wear a sweater under the peacoat to keep warm. As Bombers says, the less air transfer between your body and the lining of the peacoat, the warmer you will be. A sweater will cut down on the air movement. It works a treat.

What do you think of this one?

    I don't think a picture was included.

I need to replace a few buttons on my TOJ peacoat. I remember someone on here posting a pic of their sterlingwear w/ metal buttons swapped in...looked great. Anyone know the specific name for those buttons? Thanks in advance

Yes, it isn't a peacoat, but a bridgecoat.

You ought to be able to find what you want in the link below. I believe you will want the 40 ligne size.

[Edit Note: OK, here is the link. I left it out first time around.]

I'd be interested in just selling it for a reasonable price as well.
