I have 800$ put aside for a pea coat but i can`t really find one that I would find worth dropping 800 on, does anyone in here have a suggestion

    Temple of Jawnz.

Get it custom fitted everything, I'm sure they will accommodate you for an extra charge.

$450 shipped + whatever else you may want to add.

I actually decided to go a cheaper route as i found a burberry trench today for 140$ that looks incredible! So i am trying to decide between buying the J crew peacoat:
    http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/o...7195/87195.jsp
    or the ralph lauren peacoat:
    http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/o...7195/87195.jsp

I am looking for a very slim fitting coat that is not boxy, also should i go with navy or black?

Temple of Jawnz, it's about 100-150$ more and it's hefty-er, probably better construction.

For official information pertaining to the Temple of Jawnz, contact TOJ directly at [email protected], Just email them, really awesome guys, you'll probably get a reply almost right away. They can pretty much tweak it to your body type and measurements, just give them full details. It's worth checking out at the very least. Edit: that is not an official ToJ site, it's fan run and a couple months out of date.

If you decide to get one of these two, go jcrew. RL ones do not fit as well as this seasons pea coat. also jcrew has thinsulate.

    Hello gentlemen,

I went down to my local Uniqlo store today and tried on their wool peacoats. I need some advice on how they fit. I know the sleeves are short, but I think I can get about a half-inch more out of them by sending them to a tailor.

I don't know, somehow, I feel the large is not fitted enough, and is a bit long in the body and a bit skirty. But, is the medium too short in the body? Which is preferable? I suppose I should get the large and then go to a tailor to slim it down and shorten it? Or get the medium and just lengthen the sleeve?

Any advice would really be appreciated.

Me in just a light fleece zip-up (for reference):

if there is extra material in the sleeves, I would go with the medium, but it looks like you need another 2-2.5" so that is a lot of extra fabric.

The large is too large, HOWEVER I have found that with Uniqlo, it is possible to try on two of the same item in the same size and have it fit differently (no joke). It may be worthwhile to try on a few mediums and a few larges and see if there is one you like the best. Good luck.

I think the large looks good, better than the medium in all aspects.

Hey guys, what are some types of shoes and colors that really compliment a grey peacoat?
    Mostly wearing raw indigo denim.
