What's with all the hate towards JCrew around here?
Don't get me wrong, I'm wearing a JCrew BD right now, but I just think in general JCrew is overpriced for the quality.

a little bit - it was pretty comfy with just a t-shirt on, but with a fairly thin hoodie on it was kind of tight, and a bit hard to raise my arms up all the way.

Hmm, I might be in trouble.. Just ordered a small using the promocode, no returns. At 5'11'' and 160lbs you seem to be roughly the same build as me though.. Hope I didn't screw up.

I think the small will be fine on you actually. I'm awaiting mine to come via proxy (small --- 5'11" 155 lbs).

I'm looking to get a Sterlingwear Authentic Peacoat and I'm not sure what size to get for a slim look. Here are my measurements:

    5'11
    175-180 lbs
    39-40chest
    15.5 neck
    34/35 arm length
    32/33 waist

Usually wear 40R jackets from H&M but its tight on the shoulders.

Should I size down to 38 or 36 and should it be R or L?

    Any suggestion would be great..

    Thanks

I wanted to get a peacoat this year I like the JCrew Wool University Coat. Its a bit high but there cheaper on eBay. I live in Tennessee where the temp is 20-30 during the winter. Is the thinsulate version to warm for this temp? What do you think? If I like the JCrew Wool University Coat what are a few other options that are similar.

    3 questions.

    1) Are brown wooden buttons on peacoats a good look

    2) You know the lapels, are you supposed lift one side up and be able to button it up, so your upper chest isnt visible?

    3) Are eupellets required for genuine peacoats

Hope so[IMG] It's on its way, willl probably post fit pics when I get it.

    - Would pairing a peacoat with skinny jeans and abington hikers be horrible?

Hm, I guess it kinda does. Would pairing anything with Abington hikers be horrible?
