I just picked up this peacoat in the Gilt sale for dirt cheap. If it doesn't fit I will be posting it in the B&S forums shortly. It's a size 48 (euro).

Sigh, I'll throw myself into this mix. 5'2", 125 lbs. About a 32-34 inch chest/28-29 waist. Should I be going with the smallest size possible (30s)?

Perhaps, but I'm concerned that the 32S will be too long... Are peacoats quite easy to get tailored?

I'm about 32-33" chest, and 32R (I'm like 5'9") was good in the chest for layering. It is 18" p2p pretty much exactly, but since it's moderately thick that ends up being more like 17.5" for the inside. I could size down to 30R, for sure, but I wouldn't be able to wear anything more than a thin sweater below it if I did. ymmv, but I'd go for a 32S if you plan on layering and a 30S if not.

^ I believe TOJ is releasing a new & improved one this fall/winter.

I purchased one from the B&S last week and should be receiving it early next week.
PM me, if it doesn't fit the way I'd like I'll sell it for cheap. Size small
