Meeting with the academy

I'm going to Annapolis over Spring Break and I'll be meeting with the Admissions Office (on April Fools' Day, actually.. ha. hope that doesn't foreshadow anything

). Anyway, what would be the best way to present myself (clotheswise- and any pointers on mannerisms would be quite helpful). Remember, this is the prime choice for college, so I'm trying to make the best impression. Thanks troops.

Dark gray or blue suit. Crisp white or blue shirt. Dark wine colored tie. Conservative appearance and completely neat. A good hair cut, clean fingernails, and SHINED SHOES. Long socks, so that, if you cross your legs, the skin from your leg doesn't show. Good eye contact when speaking. Excellent posture at all times--standing, walking, or sitting. The hands are so important. Many times, this is the downfall in a stressfull interview. I'd keep them folded, in your lap. An occasional gesture certainly enhances one's speech--but don't overdo. having read your many messages, your southern manners will carry the day. Most importantly, be yourself. When people attempt to be something they are not, it shows. Best wishes.

I'll be doing my best. Thank you for the well wishes and compliments. hmmm, I should be packing, hehe. If anyone lives in the Chesapeake Bay area, how is the weather? True I could check the Weather Channel, but I'd like to get pointers from someone right in the middle of it all. Thanks
