Which model are you considering? I think the soft calf leather used on the Chelsea boots are not stiff and don't require much break in if any.

I don't mind a long break in. My boots are still breaking. They are substantially more comfortable than when I first got them, but they are still tight around the instep where the tongue joins the uppers. I may need to take them to a cobbler open this portion up.
was thinking on this pair

or the country calf/pebble leather

both are RUI last

Surprised to receive a shipping notification for the shinki cordovan NST boots. Wasn’t expecting them until January! Will report back when they arrive.
Was very tempted by those but I have a green Trickers MTO cordovan brewing...

Could somebody help me with last and sizing for a pair of Meermin oxfords? I wear size 11 D in Magnanni Federico and size 11 Converse (not much to go on, I know...)

Any assistance is appreciated!

Is there any hope of getting any of Meermin’s regular styles in 13UK? They seem to never be in stock.

Question regarding sizing for Meermin shoes. I've tried on the Park Avenues for Allen Edmonds in a 9.5eee after being measured. It fit great except the shoe had a bowing issue. Would my size be a 8.5UK in the Hiro G last? How does the Hiro last compare to the 65 last?

Received my boots today. Does any of you know what’s with extra long welt in the front? I feel like I received some quality rejected boots. Very flexible flying around welt.

Were these purchased from meermin direct? Or off eBay?

If from meermin, just another example of their trash QC process. It's why I will only buy from their eBay store, so you can see what you're getting (though I no longer purchase this brand).
