Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Hello,
I have a question on suede care. I recently got a pair of Meermin snuff suede derby boots and decided to get me some products to care for them. So I bought the Saphire Medaille d'or Super Invulner and the Renovateur in medium brown. However, the boots seems to be probably closer to light brown.
Hence my question:
What happens when you put a darker shade of suede renovator? Does it darken a lot or like for leather it is more subtle? Will it wear off and go back to the original colour with time?
I don't think I would mind the colour darkening a bit, just curious about what to expect.

You’ll notice it’s a little different from their original offering. This particular model is referred to as, a Hand Sewn 270 degree Norvagese boot. In any case, the 138025 is a standard offering in their repertoire.
