You guys ought to have some alternative edge color options. I love the look of antique edging on shoes from brands from Alden, Grant Stone, and even Beckett Simonon. It allows the leather/shell color to pop, and adds a casual vibe to the shoes.
Hello Sir!
Thank you for yopur comment, we'll keep that in mind.
Have a great monday.

It was such a beautiful fall day out, I put on these in the spirit of fall colors.

Yesterday morning, I received a delivery from Meermin via DHL - a pair of brown shell cordovan longwings that I ordered in early September when they were an MTO option.

This evening, I received an e-mail from Meermin which said, "Your order is on the way"!

Anyway, although Meermin's shipping notification may have been delayed, I think that the actual shoes were pretty much precisely on time, as I think that the original order said that they should delivered in late October (so 6-7 weeks from order to delivery).

Looking absolutely fantastic with those trousers!

Hello Meermin,
Your attendance in this thread is welcomed by many, please keep it up!
A few months ago I took advantage of the jump boot MTO. That time we were able to choose leather, colour, lining, sole etc so there was a very broad range of options for us to create the perfect boot. I was more than happy with how mine turned out:

Now I suggest that between the present and early spring you do a similar offering for penny loafers. I could see myself getting pennies in red grain, navy calf, green calf with Dainite or city soles. My guess is that this would be very popular so please pass this on for consideration. Cheers!

They actually did that a few months ago, which was quite comprehensive, between hand v. machine stitched uppers, sole types, leather types. can't remember if there were many last options, but pretty much every other aspect had many many choices.

I'd jump on this and say to offer it for the wholecut loafers as well though, i'm not a big penny loafer guy, but dear sweet goodness do i love a good wholecut loafer. especially if it's unlined... and maybe in shell... meermin... just sayin'...

@Meermin

Will we see a return of the Galway style boots to RTW or ideally in the next MTO boot event?
The new samples of that model, which i believe you refer to (101518) are in the making.
We will post here some pics of them and let you guys know if they are for RTW collection or in the other hand for the GMTO.

Have a great day.

Great! I was hoping those were the new boots you were referencing a few days back.

Any ETA on when we'll see them?

Thanks!

Unfortunately they are not the first in our list, but we promise to let you guys know as soon as the first sample is ready.

I'd definitely pick up a pair of the Galway style boots in utah calf!
