finally got my hands on my unlined ultraflex chukkas, I gotta say, these bad boys are wildly comfortable right off the bat, and I think are gonna be the easiest meermin to break in. I've generally had a longer break in period with all of my meermins than i do with any other shoes. leather is nice and thick, the insole is great. QC on my pair was generally pretty good, there's a little soft scratch if you look for it on the inside of one pair, but the suede is pretty velvety, nice and thick, so it doesn't really show up unless you're looking for it, and also I don't really care anyway. These do fit very similar to the hiro last as well, which is great.

honestly, I'll probably be picking up more pairs in this construction if they make them in a style i need to add to the collection..

I am pondering joining the GMTO for double monks in MON last. I will appreciate your comments; FYI the HIRO last fits me a tad snug (I have not broke them in yet), the HOK fits roomy in the toes but OK.

For further reference I wear 10.5UK in Loake's Capital, Cheaney's 125 and 130, Carmina in Detroit and Church's in 173 lasts.

Thank you very much

Anyone know when the Norwegian Split Toe GMTOs on the HOK last are shipping out, approximately, this month?

Thanks chaps!

How do you like them? Have been thinking of getting chukkas for some time now. Any comparisons to other shoe brands in terms of quality?
Well, I really like them a lot. I have an approach regarding chukkas that they are hardly to get them wrong and most look the same. In terms of quality they are good, I mean, you can see where they lack of some detailing compared to other brands but seriously, nothing to worry about, unless you get one of those that might have serious QC issues.

Since these are my go to boots for me they're perfect. Cause if they get seriously damaged I know I can replace them easily.

Just yesterday received my purchase from mid of February, Service Boot Shell Cordovan in HOK last made from materials from Shinki Hikaku Tannery in Burgundy colour. It's come one month late due to pandemic flight embargo.

I'd like to share my experience as it may helps to someones. I wear most of my shoes in size UK7,5. Had read some previous posts (page1190) about sizing for this boots and I decide to order this boots to be true to size. Meermin support recommend take 0,5 size down and guys who already got it say the same thing. I have ordered in size UK7 and it fits great, not narrow or tight and not relax, just a small amount of space to move your toes. Quality is very good and no any imperfections and flaws is found. Leather is smooth with no any wrinkles. I guess I can wear socks even a bit thicker than ordinary socks. If your decide to wear this boots with inserts or thick socks, better to take your normal
size. Upper part near ankle area seems a little bit stiff, but it is not breaks yet and after some wear it will be OK.

Can't get enough of Meermin. These new Chelsea boots are beautiful. The leather is very soft. Fit is snug and very comfortable. Only issue is a slight blemish on the stretch material and the seam at the back of one shoe is a bit sloppy and bunched up. They shine up like a treat!
