I am a 14D Brannock and 14E in Allen Edmonds 65 last. There are some shoes on the MTO page that I absolutely love, but they are in the Hiro G last.

I have one pair of Meermins, a suede oxford in the Terry last in 13UK, which fits my foot with a tiny bit of snugness. I have yet to break them in.

Do you think that a 13UK in Hiro G will reasonably fit me?

Beautiful. I've been eyeing the same style in burgundy.
May I ask how does this New Rey last compare to the Hiro ?
The Hiro in 10 UK, seems to fit me pretty well.

Thanks, good choice! I wear 10 UK for both New Rey and Hiro. They fit perfectly.

These arrived today. (Sorry about the pictures, not much light up here this time of year). I am happy with them, very well made and the shell seems good quality although I’ll have to see how they wear in to know for sure. They do feel a fair bit lighter than boots from other companies, not sure what that’s about?

The colour is very close to my mahogany shell from Bonafé. Sizing is TTS in my opinion.

They look great. Bit of a hassle to get to this point but a nice pre Xmas boost!

Hi all,

I just received my pair of Meermin Chromexcel boots I bought in an MTO some time back in October.

Right off the bat I noticed a considerable amount of creasing on both of the boots. I have read that chromexcel does tend to crease (this is my first time purchasing anything chromexcel), but I did not expect creasing to such large and obvious extents.

I would really appreciate some feedback on whether my expectations have been too high and/or how I could lessen the creasing. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The current MTO has a few shoes in Hiro G fit.

What is your experience with Hro G.
I only had Rui and they didn’t fit: narrow in toe box.

These are my well worn Viberg cxl.
The leather on the shaft looks a bit ‘second hand’ on yours. It’ll not be seen so up to you what to do but looks odd fresh out of the box.

Anyone have this issue? Looks like some splitting on my boots is occurring. What should I do cover it or repair it.
