Heads up, Meermin just added some more models to its MTO group. Personally, I'm not impressed as I'm looking out for some boots. Wouldn't mind the green double monk though.

I've been out looking for a pair of Jodhpur boots but I missed out on the last brown MTO (not particularly interested in black boots). Also, I'd love to see some balmoral boots with interesting top parts (non-leather maybe). I know this might not be the season for boots so I'm ok to hold on till fall.

We are working on some new colors on balmoral boots, so please keep on visiting our website to see whether you like any of our future offerings.

Since Meermin has an official presence in this thread now, I'm going to ask: I'm pretty sure many would be interested in a split-toe derby in textured/rough leather, just like Edward Green's Dover and Saint Crispins' Mod. 508. There's no good affordable split-toe offered right now among the "budget" options.

Maybe some Belgian loafers, too, but I'm not sure if it's just me, though!

Hey, what do you think about this model?.

I just pulled the trigger with some kind of anxiety.

Couple questions:

Do most size down from Hiro to Ron (loafer)? In Hiro I'm an 8. I recently purchased a shell tassel loafer (from goodyearshoes on eBay) on the Ron last in size 8. They fit pretty well but there is some minor heel slippage. I'm concerned that after breaking them in the slippage will get worse. Also there seems to be a bit of gapping on the side of the shoe. Here's a pic:

Do these seem a bit wide? Should I be sizing down for Ron loafers?

On another note, the tassels on the right shoe refuse to lay flat (perhaps this is why they are seconds). Here is a pic:

Is there a way to get them to flatten down?

Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I size down an additional half for Ron. So 10.5US --> 9UK. I don't have any gapping, only when I walk as the loafer flexes. The tassels will probably calm down with wear or maybe some cream would relax them a bit?

Have the same pair, beautiful LM construction, awesome museum brown calf, wear in good health. Picked up a plum pair on the classic line recently, forgot how hard the classic lone can be to break in.
