^ It was about 12 weeks.
I have the loudest creaking coming from my double monks today on their maiden outing.
Furthermore what appears to be slight separation of the sole from the welt.
Has anyone else had these issues?
Should probably contact meermin
On my suede wholecut the outsole was also seperated from the welt. I contacted Meermin and they told me they probably hadn't gotten enough time to dry and were sent too early. They arranged a TNT collection, and they're on their way to Meermin. I also needed a bigger size, and the belt was also a bit too long, and wasn't in the same colour as the shoes, so it wasn't really a problem to me since I had to exchange them anyway.
I will email them.
I already had to send the first pair back because I was sent the wrong colour.
I wear a 9.5d in AE Park Aves- can anyone recommend a comparable last/size
or should I contact Meermin with a trace like I've seen mentioned?
Looks like $200 shipped? is that accurate?
The consensus here is about US size - 1, which will equal 8.5. This is the Hiro last which are one of the more used by others here.
Fuck it. Let's do this shit. haha. Now to spend the next few hours figuring out what I want.
Contact - reply - back and forth (sent traced pdf of foot) - confirmation and ship. 72 hours.
Will review upon arrival.
Similar here. Just placed my order with Jose and Sandro today.
I as well, a pair of black cap toes to get a feeling of the Hiro last.
Double monks too? Pending my review , I have my eye on the 10164 Goodyear welts (light natural)
Ditto, I am hoping the product is as good as the service. Looks promising
ok, heard from jose, should have my chukkas on tuesday
I'm looking forward to the photos of that chukka! On the site they didn't look that great, but we all know those photos don't give a good representation of the shoes.
Oh, no. I've got a pair of brown double monks already. Checking out the dark brown cap toes, fills a hole in the collection and will allow me to gauge the last for my upcoming custom order.
