Here are my thoughts. I'm a 9D in most US sizing, but when I sent in my foot measurements to Meermin, it was recommended that I go with an 8.5UK. In that size, the Olfe is about as perfect a last as I can find -- the shape is exactly what I like, and the fit is impeccable. The Hiro in comparison is a little looser -- it is definitely a last that will feel larger. I ordered two models in the Hiro -- a standard lace-up oxford, and a double-monk. I found that the standard lace-up oxford still fit really well and didn't have much slippage, but actually the double monks are much bigger feeling and slip a lot (so much so that I need some sort of heel insert to make them fit well). I'm not sure why the lace-up works so much better, but it may simply be b/c the laces allow me to tighten up the shoe more.

^^ Hiro last in UK 8.5. The Ama last will also work for you.

FWIW I am a US8.5 and was told to go TTS in Hiro, 7.5UK

I mentioned the lasts of the AE Leeds model and Loake chukka, too.

This is my foot according to Koji Suzuki's Measurements. Here are the measurements according to Meermin for the Ama last. What shoe size do I need? Thank you! :)

I think the only possibly open groups just now are Konda's potential jodphur boot and Terrorsquad's hatch grain. There might be an Austerity boot mk 2 in the pipeline. What you looking for? Start your own group!
