    Simpson is more narrow, IIRC I wore a 10.5UK in Simpson compared to 10UK Olfe

    On the subject of boots: Anyone had shipping notification for Austerity yet?

    No, not yet. Once I get my boots I can compare the simpson and Olfe myself. I did try the Olfe when I was in the store in Madrid and the 9UK fit me best in both lasts. (I'm also a 10E in the AE 5 Last, so who knows; I have odd feet)

    Has a tradgedy befallen Meermin?

    This would explain why they are unable to answer a simple email regarding the shipment of my shoes ordered more than 30 days ago.

    I wish them a speedy recovery.

    Sometimes it seems like they don't respond regularly to direct emails. I have had good results using the web inquiry form.

    Maybe try Instagram? They seem to respond there quickly

    And I've had issues too but an email to Pepe is usually always answered immediately

    The shoes may be great but the service is a joke. I placed an order weeks ago (after waiting weeks for a reply to my questions) and haven't gotten any invoice, update, etc. Too many beautiful shoes in the world to reward bad business. So long, Pepe!

    Yeah it is a bit disappointing regarding the service and the mixed experience of people. I think of particular issue is the up and down replying - consumers very much like consistency. I was pretty keen to proceed with an MTO after my first pair of meermins, I got an initial followup from my query from pepe very quickly, but over a week later and no response to my final question. Maybe the online business is just an adjunct to them and they prefer the business from the walk in stores and thats fine but set that expectation.
