You would think people would learn that by now...

Shoe too short/long? Change the length size!

Shoe too narrow/wide? Change the width?

Still doesn't work? Try a different last

    It's almost like it's logical.

Quick question: I've got insoles in one of my meermins, but they squeak like hell. I've had a cobbler glue them, but they still squeak just as much. Is there any way to fix this?

Thank you Roger! These are made on Hiro last. You can find them here: http://meermin.es/ficha_articulo.php?id=2749

The colour in the photo looks exactly like in the reality. Although may very depending on your screen settings. It is kind of shade that goes better with lighter colours (like light grey) rather than charcoal or dark grey imo.

^^^ Thanks for the info. I have ordered a pair of wholecuts on the Ama last (at least I think I have - placed it a few days ago and have heard nothing further and paid no $$) in that shade and also ordered a pair for my wife. Looking forward to my (our) first Meermins.

In my case it was like that:
    Ordered: 29.12
    Shipped: 10.01
    Delivered: 14.01
You'll have to wait probably a couple more days for them to charge you. I was expecting a month for delivery so was quite surprised with slightly over 2 weeks

Thanks mate! If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you? This is what I got from Luisa and I couldn't tell if all the prices except shipping included VAT or not... 260€ (shoes) + 100€ MTO cost + shipping fee = 395€ ($533.49US)

honestly at that price, I rather buy something more accessible if you're not 100% stuck on a specific style/ last. not to mention, you didn't account for the duty fees yet. some guy told me he was charged around $40 bucks for the LM line, making it closer to $600. you might get burned with sizing as well.

He was most likely referring to VAT which we outside of the EU do not have to pay. Most european makers include VAT in their normal prices and then remove it if shipping outside the EU.

Thanks mate! But does the VAT apply to the MTO cost too or just the shoes itself?
I don't have duty fees/custom fees when I receive shoes from Meermin (I've order two pairs already). I meant VAT because I'm trying to see if the MTO process is worth it for me based on the shoe I want.

To my understanding there should be VAT included in the MTO cost as well as generally VAT applies to both products and services (this is a service). Then again Spain is a different animal altogether and seeing how they run their finances, I'd not be surprised if VAT is not applied to the 100 € MTO cost. In any case it is only few euros.

Yeah that's exactly what I thought. Yeah it isn't much, I was just curious. It is really only a difference of $25US so it isn't really all that bad.

Thanks konda, I do appreciate it!

There is one thing I wish Meermin did...post what color of leather/suede they offer for their MTO shoes. Similar to what bespoke-england does for the Gaziano & Girling shoes they offer.

Yeah, Geran. I'm pretty sure there's VAT on the MTO charge but not 100% By my reckoning you'd be about $450 delivered
