Regarding time frame, I ordered a pair of loafers (size 9.5 in light brown calf) last Wednesday and received a request for payment/ready to ship in 10 days notification today. I must have ordered a pair they have in stock and it took about a week to get to step 2.

Meermin trees only works for its New Rey last and doesn't even fill Ben last. Not worth it.
I agree. For me they don't even fill the New Rey, maybe because they don't do the trees in half sizes, but I doubt that would actually make much difference.

They must have. I ordered a pair of dark brown double monks size 8UK on Jan 12th and just received notice that they were ready to ship yesterday. If the quality and fit is like the oxfords I got a couple of weeks ago, it will have been worth the wait.

It's a small picture, but from I see the shoe looks stunning. Where is it to be found and what is the price?

They're available at Epaulet's shop: http://epauletnewyork.com/collections/footwear/products/carnegie-austerity-brogue-caramel-calfskin

The Carmina Rain last is perfect, and the austerity and color in this makeup compliment it beautifully.

I just struggle justifying $545 for calfskin shoes on my budget. I'm sure they're worth it, though.

I'm thinking I could accomplish nearly the same look from Meermin for around half the price...

If terrorsquad doesn't get a Hatch-grain Ben Chukkah MTO going, I will probably go this direction (Austerity, Tan or Light-brown).

The Austerity Brogue on the Olfe last is available in black on their website. No word about other colors, but I'm sure they're in the works.

It is being made in snuff color according to Luisa at Meermin. No other plans currently.

Thanx. Due to the strongly Swedish krona it is a fair price. I will most certainly be hit by import tax in Sweden though, and again it is less attractive...

I own the brown calf double monks from Meermin and last week I ordered the Dark Brown medallion punch cap oxfords. They told me about 20 days until shipping. FYI for anyone who's wondering about waiting times...
