There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You are dead wrong. They take long naps everyday and hibernate from July to August.

I heard my shoes were also just picked up by UPS, but I wasn't provided with a tracking number. I had requested that the black plastic things they place in the shoes be removed; as the last pair I had shipped in that manner had holes in the inside heel caused by them and for a lower value on the customs form, but Pepe said he couldn't accommodate those requests as UPS had picked up the shipment.

I expect them to arrive on Monday.

Feel the same about monks (more specifically double monks), but I'm sure there will be some solid options for the plum museum. Having missed out on the museum calf MTO, I definitely won't be missing the next one.

I'd love to see a museum double monk. That would really be a rare and daringly elegant shoe.

Is there a plum museum calf (+ hatchgrain) MTO in the works?

I placed an order for a couple shoes yesterday but what do you mean by the black plastic bags?

I'm in for the plum museum double monks

Not plastic bags. They look like straws, they're two pieces of long black plastic placed in the shoe, between the heel and some crumpled paper in the front of the shoe to keep its shape.

Thanks for the pictures and especially for the comparison to the F last!
The MTO is on the Olfe last, right?
How does it fit your feet?

Talking about the way the leather was cut, not 100% clean, across the cap. Look from bottom to top, along the cap. It looks like they didn't cut it even.

I know a lot of people have had meermin success, but I think part of the problem is that we're expecting it to be like Carmina, which it isn't. It's sort of like Carmina sleekness with AE quality and quality control, without the brilliant AE customer service. I'm waiting to pull the trigger, but I've been waiting for a year almost.
