Austerity brogue on Olfe, and some kind of bal boot. Anything else being added to the lineup?
Adelaide on the Olfe last as well and a plain toe double monk on a new last. I'm sure others, but these are the ones he told me about.
Ok, so I was just reading through the thread and must have previously read over this. Has anyone tried this? I mean, if I could get, for example, a shoe with an "E" width ball and a "D" width heel, that would be stellar. I have heard that some of the higher end shoe makers will modify existing lasts for MTO customers (like add space), is this likely what they are referring to? For an extra 20€ it would be a no brainer.
they are also putting together a "chapel" type double monk strap, with the two buckles sweeping back which will be frikkin sweet
well it has actually since changed to + 100 euro for an MTO, and it is now + 150 euro for the changed last MTO. still tho, i think they could do something like that.
How did you get them in blue? I don't see them in that color anywhere on the site.
And what is this about people paying $150 in just fees?
I bought a pair of LM line shoes in neu last a couple months ago. I've only worn them a couple times, but the surface of the sole seems to be in the initial stages of peeling off. might not be a big deal.
But I was wondering, how would you rate your experiance with Meermin shoes so far:
1. How are the classic line shoes quality wise?
2. How are the LM shoes quality wise?
3. How are the MTO shoes quality wise?
that happens on occasion with channeled soles. If you scan the first two pages, you'll see a thread on a $1,200 pair of John Lobbs doing the same.
Glue it back down.
That said, I'm not convinced of meermin's quality or longevity
I've got shipping confirmation. Estimated date of delivery: October 10:th. Let the countdown begin.
Got pictures of the finished shoes from Pepe.
There's a post on here with a pair of JL Prestige doing the same thing...
is there an echo in here
JakeZero: what last is that?
I am not at all trying to challenge you on this point as I (and others I am sure) have also had this thought, but I would like to ask you: What specifically about them makes you uneasy? It seems that the leather sources are quite good. Some issues have been reported on soles, but those are fairly easily replaced. While it is not something you want to happen on shoes, it would not decrease their longevity. Thoughts?
Didn't read your full reply, but yes, there is a loud, booming echo.
