Hi, this is my first post on this thread. I am about to pull the trigger on some Meermin loafers in the Elton last. I am trying to decide between UK10.5 and UK11. My Brannock measurement is approximately US11.75 (right) and US11.5 (left), however my arch length is firmly in the 12 range for both right and left. I have found that for AE 5 lasts I need to size up to 12 and get a C width. My guess is this makes me a UK11 in the Elton last, but any suggestions are appreciated. Love the look of this MTO:

I also have a pair of Herring (last 109) in UK11 that are slightly too large. I have emailed Meermin and all they have provided is the measurements of their shoes but no real recommendation. My foot is 291mm long. They say the "foot length" for the Elton in UK10.5 is 290.8mm and the UK11 is 295.1mm. They also provided insole length, but that seems less important given that the last would better determine insole size (i.e. elongated toe last = longer insole). I'm a bit stuck here, so any help would be appreciated.

Quite time consuming process.
First you erase the original color with saphir product and this step is followed by painting the shoes in a different colour with Teinture Française.
Subsequently you add cream to protect the leather.

Can anyone tell me the recommended sizing for ELTON, RUI, and Hiro last? I'm a 7.5D on brannock device, but AE's Strand in 7.5D are too long so the AE Store fit me in 7D. Unfortunately due to my high instep 7D Strands hurt like hell for weeks until I returned them. 7E made no difference as the top of my feet were still painful as hell. I posted a thread about it for with more info: https://www.styleforum.net/threads/allen-edmonds-making-top-of-foot-red.600194/

Please tell me which if any of those Meermin lasts will work for my feet? If so, what size would I be in UK sizing? Customer support told me 6/6.5UK, but I'm unsure which of those two to get and if I should be getting different sizes for different lasts?

Many thanks!

Does their classic line still suffer QC issues? I'm considering a pair of suede chukkas and I heard that the suede can be stiff and have blemishes, despite it being CFStead. Should I wait for an MTO to ensure good quality?

Not sure about their suede. Some pics on IG looks good but you better ask other SF buyers here. All I know is that their shell cordo loafer is useless unless you like wearing wooden clogs. **** the podiatry bill alone is $500.

This is interesting too. Is this after they switched to the Japanese shell?
