    I have both Meermin Hiro & Elton as well as Yanko 915 lasted shoes. In terms of sleek chisel-toe, the order for me is the following me:
    Meermin Elton-frankly the only one of the 3 that fits both sleek and chisel-toe criteria
    Yanko 915 sleek but not as chiseled toe as the Elton
    Meermin Hiro-Classic rounded toe

    Do you wear the same size for the Meermin and Yanko?

    tried them on in Madrid last week and I really liked the last. I'm typically a 9.5US and an 8.5UK in these seemed to fit me well

    How tough is the calf leather they use, in your opinion? I've been eyeing a pair of black derby boots as a pair of beaters to wear while at work.

    Quite thin but decent enough unless cut or scraped deep. The problem is the hard uncomfortable insole.

    I've never had a pair of Meermins before, but I've got a pair of Loake 1880 Aldwych (Capital last), and am looking at these (I need a Dainite soled pair for the Edinburgh winter) in burgundy. They're on the ROIS last (which the website says should fit the same size as the HIRO, OLFE or ELTON).

    Do I take the same size as my Loakes, which is a UK 9.5?

    Also, does anyone have any experience with their shoe trees - I like to keep my brands all matched, but for size if a 9.5 is a 43.5 their trees are 42-43 or 44-45, which would you go for?

    The Capital last runs pretty large, so I suggest taking 10 UK in Meermin lasts. Of course, no advice is 100% correct, unless based on exact foot and last measurements. I suggest contacting Meermin directly with your measurements (foot length, width, circumference around the ball).

    I need to go half size up from my Capital last size in Hiro and Olfe lasts. Meermin shoe trees are rather poor, they are not lasted and have quite low instep area. IMO some generic shoe trees are much better choice.

    [QUOTE = "RVFIO, post: 9152502, участник: 270613"]

    Я беру тот же размер, что и мой Loakes, который является британским 9,5?
    [/ QUOTE]
    Нет.
    Meermin hiro olfe elton = capital +0.5 size,
    rui = +0.0 .size
    You need 10uk.
