Hello, all. I've tried Meermin, had some sizing trouble, contacted the brand, tried new sizes, and still had trouble. I think their lasts are generally too narrow for my feet. I can feel my pinky toes rubbing the leather on the outside of my foot no matter what I try. I was curious if there were any other brands with similar value propositions to Meermin, but might offer wider lasts? Or should I stick with Allen Edmonds (11D fits me well)? Or should I bump up my costs to Cheaney? Any thoughts would be more than helpful!

edit: The other brands I've researched are:

Velasca: Appear to also run narrow.
Berwick 1707: Leather quality is in question (lots of corrected grain)

Sounds like you’d be a good candidate for Carlos Santos.

A decent pair of Carlos Santos shoes usually cost twice the price of a pair in Meermin's classic Goodyear welted line.

That was my understanding of the brand too. If I’m going to jump to $400 a pair (which I will if I have to, but prefer not to), I’m going to head to Northamptonshire.

Allen Edmonds on proper sale is a fine option.

But you can probably do better. Carlos Santos, Löf & Tung, Loake, Grant Stone on sale, J. FitzPatrick on sale, Beckett Simonon (you can get 20% off, so do that)... And your options explode as you get closer to $400 (Carmina, Tricker, Cobbler Union, J. FitzPatrick and Grant Stone at full price)...

I'll look into a few of these brands too. Thanks!
