For fans of Orson Welles (I'm one) and the story of the legendary Mercury Theater, this will be a must see movie. The actors who portray the young Welles, John Houseman, and Joseph Cotton are believable and superb in their craft. It is a charming story. The character played by Zac Efron, the "Me" of the title, is just....OK. That role, if played by a young Leonardo DiCaprio or Toby Maguire, could have really taken flight. I wish the stories of the many lesser characters in the movie were more developed as they were people that one would like to know more. Overall, this is a movie that has a good pace and a few surprises.
Also, for SF readers, the attire worn by all will be of great interest. Men, in the late '30s, knew how to dress.
